Poco Cello 2021

첼리스트 김주빈 (2011년생)은 뉴욕 태생으로 뉴욕에 거주하며 맨해튼 음대 예비학교를 거쳐 현재 쥴리어드 예비학교에 재학중이다. 8세에 취미로 첼로를 시작해서 10세부터 본격적으로 첼로를 통해 클래식 음악세계로 빠져들어 고전과 현대곡들에 대한 도전과 실험을 이어 나가고 있다. 2022년에 독일 드레스덴 도자우어 국제 첼로 콩쿨에서 3등을 수상, American Protégé, Music International Grand Prix 등 수많은 국내외 콩쿨에서 수상하였고 카네기홀에서 다회 연주하였다. 11세에는 Kammer Kreis Solisten을 공동 창단하여 지휘자이자 협연자로 데뷔했고, 10세에는 서울 시티필하모닉, 서울 솔로이스츠앙상블과 협연했다.

William Kim presents his collection of live recordings performed when he was 10-11yrs old. William started the cello by joining an after school activity when he was 8 years old. He was quickly immersed into the world of classical and contemporary music, and while experimenting with full scores, co-founded Kammer Kreis Solisten when he was 11 yrs old, performing as the first conductor and soloist. William was awarded third prize at the prestigious 2022 Dotzauer International Cello Competition, has won prizes at numerous competitions, and has performed at the Carnegie Hall multiple times. William is currently enrolled at the Juilliard School PreCollege Program in NYC.
