앨범 소개

한국의 전통음악인 ‘판소리’를 30년 동안 해오고 있는 이나래는 국립국악고등학교, 서울대학교 국악과를 거치고 전국의 국악 대회에서 입상하는 등 그 기본기를 단단하게 다져왔다. 전통음악과 그것을 재해석하는 작업부터 ‘이날치 LEENALCHI’‘라는 밴드의 보컬로 얼터너티브 팝 장르에 도전하기까지, 꾸준하게 자신의 세계관을 확장해왔다.

현재는 전자음악 샘플링 위에 판소리 가창 방식을 더해 일렉트로닉, 얼터너티브 팝, 힙합 등, 장르의 경계를 넘나들며, 전통음악을 전공했지만 현시대를 살아가는 음악인으로서 오롯이 ’공감할 수 있는 음악‘에 집중하며 가사를 쓰고 음악을 만들고 있다.

Lee Narae has been practicing ‘Pansori’, a form of traditional Korean music, for 30 years. Winner of many national competitions, she studied traditional Korean music at Gugak National High School and Seoul National University. Her artistry has continued to expand into various genres, ranging from traditional music and its reinterpretations to alternative pop performances as the vocalist for the band LEENALCHI.

As a contemporary artist that studied traditional music, Lee writes lyrics and creates music without distinguishing between genres - be it electronic, alternative pop or hip-hop - adding the layer of pansori to electronic sampling, focusing solely on "music that resonates with people"
