Walt Whitman, Oscar Wilde, Arthur Rimbaud, Gertrude Stein 등 세계적인 LGBTQ 문인들의 시로 엮은 12곡의 송사이클을 최고의 뮤지컬 배우 마이클 리, 최재림과 메조소프라노 정자영, 신예 배우 신주원, 김경록 등의 음색으로 담은 오리지널 사운드 트랙 - 13 Fruitcakes (13 후르츠케이크).

13 Fruitcakes: Musical Vignettes 는 공연계의 아카데미상인 토니상에 빛나는 뉴욕 La MaMa E.T.C.와 우리나라의 ‘노래하는 배우들’이 제작한 글로벌 컬래버레이션 작품(연출 안병구)으로, 현대 인권 운동의 한 획을 그은 사건인 미국의 ‘스톤월 항쟁(Stonewall Riots)’ 50주년을 축하하고 기념하기 위해 뉴욕에서 초연된 창작 뮤지컬이다.

13 Fruitcakes는 지난 2000년간 정치, 문화, 예술, 과학에 두각을 나타내며 인류 발전에 공헌한 성소수자 위인들과 고대 동서양의 역사적 기록을 통해 전해지는 성소수자 관련 이야기 속 주인공의 삶을 포착하여 13개의 에피소드를 노래에 엮어 스토리텔링한 옴니버스 형식으로 구성한 작품이다.

극의 진행자 올랜도 역은 드래그 문화를 세상에 알린 한국인 드래그 아티스트 모어(毛魚) 모지민(More/Mojimin)이 맡았다. 본 앨범 ‘하염없이, 피가’의 작사가로도 참여한 모어/모지민은 58회 대중상 영화제 ‘다큐멘터리상’, 42회 한국 영화평론가협회상 ‘독립영화지원상’ 등을 받은 다큐멘터리 ‘모어’의 타이틀롤이기도 하다.

13 Fruitcakes의 음악은 작곡가 Gihieh Lee가 전곡 작곡했고 편곡과 프로듀싱에 참여하였으며, 작곡가/음악감독 채한울이 프로듀싱에 힘을 보탰다. 가창에는 마이클 리, 최재림을 필두로 정자영, 신주원, 안솔지, 김지웅, 김경록, 윤제원, 이수정, 이기현 등이 폭발적인 가창력과 연기력이 돋보이는 카리스마로 대거 참여, 무대를 직접 만나는 듯 벅찬 감동을 선사할 것이다.
