Album Introduction

Following the 2024 release of “Coffee Aura”, ZENBØ has spent seven years refining the perfect brew. This year’s music festivals, solo shows, and live performances mirror his reflections on life, uncertainty about the future, and personal introspection—marking a new phase in his musical journey.

As a member of the modern generation caught between anxiety and burnout, healing and compromise, “CASH BURNING” returns to the primal essence of rap. With razor-sharp wordplay and a satirical lens, ZENBØ reassesses the distance between ideals and reality.
Teaming up with rising hip-hop producers Coffee Wit Da Joint and RAWBONE BEATZ, along with trusted collaborator chillaxe, he crafts a musical journey centered on ambition, money, struggle, and choice.

The EP opens with “CASH BURNING INTRO”, a spark igniting the red-alert energy of the project. “Easy Money, Less Stress, Close to Home” rides a punchy Memphis rhythm to portray everyone’s dream life. In “QUOTE SHEET”, ZENBØ teams up with Louid6 from the street collective OTA to deliver a noir narrative with cinematic flair. “SITUATION FREESTYLE”, inspired by D.D.C.'s legendary “Life’s a Struggle”, fires rapid rhymes that confront harsh social realities head-on. Closing track “SECONDHAND SMOKE” pays homage to kindred spirits—those who grew up and stayed grimy together—reminiscing through smoke and memories.

Yet, “CASH BURNING” is only the beginning. When all is burned and the ashes settle, the next chapter emerges... “DUST BLOWING” is on its way.
