앨범 소개

어느 날 문득 눈을 반짝이며 또렷이 응시했을 때 발견하게 되는 것은 아직은 우리 앞에 놓인 작고 소중한 이 호흡. 사랑하는 사람을 떠나보내는 춤을 추는 사람 그걸 서운해하는 사람과 마냥 부러워하는 사람. 앨범에 담아본 섬세한 감정들의 춤선, 우리는 이번에는 이렇게 춤춘다.

지난 작품 댄스팝(DANCE POP)은 COVID19로 해외 투어가 막혀버린 상황에서 우리가 지금 함께 할 수 있는 방법이 '뭐가 있을까 어떤 게 있을까 골똘히' 생각해 본 결과물이었다. 그리고 이 앨범 숨(SUM)은 Beeline Records와 함께 호흡을 맞춘 두 번째 앨범이 되었다.
느리고 긴 호흡의 앨범을 계획했지만 어느새 넋을 놓고 춤을 추게 만드는 그런 앨범이 나왔다. 이건 어쩔 수가 없나 보다!

앨범 아트웍은 SSE Project의 YP를 통해 '사향소맨(Musk ox Man)'으로 탄생했다.

One day, when I was staring with sparkling eyes I discovered a small and precious Sum (breath) that can be found in front of us all. A person who dances to send off a loved one, one other person is upset about that and another is jealous. The album dances along a delicate slack line of emotions, this time we dance like this.

Our last album, DANCE POP came out during the Corona 19 pandemic, a time when tours were being cancelled and the world was grinding to a halt. With this new album, SUM (our second release with Beeline Records), we take a slow long ‘SUM’ (breath) to breathe it all in.

I planned a slow and long breath of an album, but before I knew it our spirit made an appearance and it became an album that will make you dance! That is just how it is with a Wedane album, there is nothing we can do about it!
