144 는 Donny Bravo(영국)이 프로듀싱을 맡았으며, 호평을 받는 디렉터 EEHOSOO(한국)의 뮤직비디오와 비트 메이킹 신동 Bojvck(한국)의 리믹스가 수록되었다. CYRRCA는 808 사운드와 브라질 펑크 리듬 위에서 한국어와 영어를 번갈아 사용하며 CYRRCA 2.0를 선보인다.

144 is produced by Donny Bravo(UK) and lands with MV by acclaimed director EEHOSOO(KR) and remix from beat-making prodigy Bojvck(KR). Alternating Korean and English over a reef of 808s and Brazilian funk-inspired percussion, 144 marks the introduction of CYRRCA 2.0.

“Donny Bravo 가 이 비트를 보냈을 때, 음악의 에너지가 바로 저를 움직이게 했어요. 비트를 들으며 서울 남산 둘레길 코스를 한 바퀴 조깅했고, 한 걸음에 가사 한 마디씩 만들었어요. 대리석을 조각하듯이 '144'의 가사를 새겼죠. 벌스는 각종 이미지와 생각의 소용돌이며, 훅은 한국어로 "따라해"를 반복해요. 일반적으로 반복을 명령하는 뜻으로 쓰이지만, 저는 가사를 따라 부르는 것을 도전하라는 의미로 사용했어요.

신스에 케이팝 느낌을 더하기 위해 Jinbo 를 영입했고, East Seoul Studios 의 B.A.Wheeler 와 함께 보컬을 맡아 믹스를 파고들었어요. 비주얼은 생동감을 원했기 때문에 EEHOSOO 감독에게 연락했고, 우리는 함께 강렬한 콘셉트를 만들어냈어요. 그렇게 특유의 가사에 맞춰진 강렬한 그래픽이 나왔죠. 에스파의 최신작 'Regret of the Times (2024 aespa Remake Ver.)' 비주얼에는 '144' 뮤직비디오의 클립이 담겼어요. 마지막으로 Studio Gute Form 의 커버 아트로 프로젝트를 완성했어요. 144 프로젝트는 제 레이블인 World Tribe Productions 에서 출시했어요.”

“When Donny Bravo sent me this beat, the energy got me moving right away. Looping it, I hit the trails around Namsan mountain in Seoul, each stride carving out lyrics for “144” like a chisel on marble. The verses are an avalanche of images and thoughts and the hook centers on the word “따라해” (dda-ra-hae) which means “repeat” in Korean. Usually, it’s used as a command to repeat after me, but I use it as a challenge to repeat along with the lyrics.

I brought on Jinbo for some Kpop flair on the synths and laid down vocals with BA Wheeler at East Seoul Studios where he dug into the mix. Wanting something vivid for the visuals, I reached out to director EEHOSOO and we cooked up a powerful concept, his custom, lyric-inspired graphics adding an extra punch. A clip from the “144” MV was featured in his visual for Aespa's latest, "Regret of the Times (2024 aespa Remake Ver.)". Studio Gute Form put the finishing touches on the project by nailing the cover art. The project is being released by my label, World Tribe Productions.”
